Hi! I’m Shan!
I am a wife, mother to three and photographer!

I love my husband more than I can tell you. He is my better half and pushes me to be a better person every day. My kids are my world. I never knew how deep you could love until I became a mother; the best gift of my life. If you follow my Blog or Instagram you will be bombarded with photos of them, so beware.

I love to run. I love being outside. Most days you will find me and my crew sneaking down the beach to soak up the sun and the sand after finishing school.
I love laughing, like I really, really love laughing and I usually laugh at all the wrong.

I started taking photos professionally a little over six years ago when my husband gave me a digital camera as a wedding gift to replace my old film camera from college. Since then I don’t think a day has passed that I haven’t taken a photo. My camera has become a part of me. I see life in pictures and I think photos are some of the best gifts we can be given.

A few years ago a friend of mine shared that her dad made the quote above their theme quote. I just fell in love with it! Since reading it, I have aimed to model my life and business by it.

I see my job as such a privilege that I get to capture special moments in your life through film.

I so love and enjoy each and every one of my clients and walk away every year with a new handful of friends! Who can say that about their job!?

Snow Day!!

We were blessed to spend some time in Texas and Oklahoma for Christmas with our family and friends. The kids were SO hopeful for snow and finally one morning they woke up to a Winter Wonderland!! A little different then our normal sandy beach photos!! snowblog-1
